Clear Vue Cyclones uses steel material handling impellers which have passed the test of time. Our impellers are the only ones in the small shop woodworker market that use a taper lock bushing to mount them to the motor shaft. This taper lock bushing is also self centering to keep the impeller running true and maintain it's balance.

Our cyclone is unique in the industry. The PETG plastic used is tough, it is impact resistant (but not unbreakable), it is quieter than steel, and does not rust or dent. Most importantly, it is clear allowing users to see the operation of our cyclone. The advantages of having a clear cyclone include the weight of the system as compared to those fabricated in steel or other metal. Our complete system weighs in at about 110# including the motor.

Our motor is a ‘real’ 5hp compressor duty motor that has a full load rating of 20.8 amps at 230V. It is continuous duty which means it's made to run continuously. Compressor duty motors are capacitor start, capacitor run motors designed for operation under very heavy loads. Leeson is one of only two motor manufacturers still manufacturing motors in the US.
