Dual Collection Bins

Hey, my company recently began installing our CV Max, and we were wondering if there was any reason we couldn't have 2 collection bins. We were thinking about placing a Y at the base of the cyclone, then blast gates, then our collection drums. This way we could empty a full drum without stopping our machinery. Right now we're using a 2hp Delta dust collector with a 50 gallon bag - we have to empty it every 5 hours. Thanks for your thoughts!

Tim,
I don't see any reason you could not. The one caution is to make sure you have no air leaks at the bottom of the cyclone or dust will go up into the filters. Many blast gates will leak so make sure yours do not. Another choice would be to go with a larger bin so you could go for a full work-shift.(?)
