Posting pictures

I've tried & I'm tired-- how to post a pic from my hard drive?? OR does it have to be on another website?

Phil,
If you want to ad a picture, scroll down on the screen where you are typing your post. It will say File Attachments. There will be a box beside it that has a browse button. Click on the button and it will take you to your hard drive. Click on the file that you want to ad.

Welllll-- I tried that about three times yesterday with 2 types of files .GIF and PDF - for some reason I couldn't save mu GIF as a JPEG. Anyway, which type pf file is preferred?. Today, I managed to post a shop drawing to the shop drawings thread :D

I'd like to join a discussion regarding shop layouts and submit my shop layout. However, when I hit "Add Reply", I do not get an option to attach a file. After searching through the Invision help, I found a statement that says the 'admin' needs to enable this function. Is this something you need to do before I get access to the 'file attachments" button?

Sorry Ed - ignore my earlier post. I'm used to other forums and was expecting the file attachment button to be located central and on the bottom. Don't know how I didn't see it on the left.
