Ed, I got my cyclone today I love it, I will start assembly this weekend.
My question is what paint can I use on the MDF to seal it up? Also what type of silicone do you use for the seams?
Does anyone make house calls to help with installation of the PVC Lines?
LOL I didnt think so.
Thanks again,

Josh,
I haven't painted my MDF, but a good quality Latex Enamel house trim paint should do a good job and be easy to use.

If you pay the expenses, I might make a house call..... :) Beware, I have a lot of expenses when I travel.
Shouldn't the cut ends be sealed with other than a latex??
I fear the latex would swell the fibrous ends. ????

I used a brush on poly clear coat. It didn't swell the ends at all. Mines going to be in a closet, so natural wood tone was fine for me. Jim.

I painted every piece of the MDF. I used a thin coat of exterior grade latex primer first...to seal the MDF. That dried in about 30 minutes. Then I used 2 coats of interior latex enamel. No swelling that I could determine...but things do fit together just a little tighter with 3 coats of paint. Looks great.
