Has anyone had this happen? I've got an accumulation of MDF dust to the immediate right of the intake chute. It doesn't move, go away, or anything. It took me a while to realize that the high speed air doesn't even flow here. Attached picture (I hope) shows what I'm talking about.

Bob,
The space above the air ramp is a dead space as you observed. The reason there is dust build up there is because the air ramp isn't sealed to the discharge tube. There is a small gap around there and dust does get up above the air ramp. Many of you want to take everything apart and paint the MDF. If we sealed that up, you wouldn't be able to take the top off the cyclone. From a functional standpoint, there is nothing wrong.

Thanks. I was hoping this wasn't an indication that I hadn't sealed something.

Yeah, mine's started to collect some there the more I use it. I knew it was above the air ramp and no problem. I had used some silicone to seal the ramp as I put mine together, but must have missed a spot or 2 allowing it to collect some in there. Jim.
