I've read in several places that two filters are recommended, but it appears from the image on the product ordering pages that only one is included in the 1800 bundle. Can someone tell me for sure, please?

I'm trying to convince the wifee to let me buy a cyclone, but she's balking at the $1,500 price tag and wants me to get a $300 bag collector. Any assistance in convincing her is appreciated.

It comes with two filters. Each has 300 sq feet area. I just checked mine after ten months of operation and they are clean. It is hard to see any dust in them.
I believe it is better for your health to do nothing rather than to use a bag type dust blower. They literally blow the respirable dust around the shop and keep it in the air for you to breathe. The best advice I can give you is to go to Bill Pentz's site and read it thoroughly. Have your wife read the medical related sections.

Oh, I think I see...the filters are stacked? I was confused because I've seen installations where they're side-by-side. Ceiling height is the least of my worries, so I'll stick with the stacked installation. I have 10' ceilings in my shop, so I'll likely be installing it up off the ground.
