Best practices for CV1800 setup

Thanks everyone for the suggestions on the best ways to install the flex duct. I tried the JJohnston's method of removing the wire for a couple of turns and it worked great. To Jim's suggestion, your right I remember the install was a little easier over the factory edge which had a bevel to it rather than the rough edge I created when cutting. Thanks.

I have it up and running and compared to the old single-stage 1 1/2 hp, 4" flex hose Delta I had before this one is amazing. It sucked the bottom of the cabinet clean where the old one left a couple of inches standing.

Happy days are ahead in the shop now.
