Mine does not work consistently as evidenced in a prior post. There may be an authorized center in my town but before I bring it in I'd like an idea what the coverage is.
If I have to do this can someone give me some tips on deconstructing the cyclone? Bobland |

Bob, I found this on the Leeson site:http://www.leeson.com/servicesupport/warranty.htm
Before you go to the trouble of taking the cyclone apart, talk to a service center. If it is deemed it is a capacitor, then they may supply that to you and let you replace. I would think that would be a lot easier that taking the cyclone apart. But to do so, you basically reverse the installation process. I know that's a simplistic answer, but there's no easier way. If you can separate the intake and exhaust pipes from the cyclone, exhaust sould be easy to do, intake a little harder, then the cone come off with 3 screws, then drop the blower assembly, disassemble, and remove the motor. I'd be sure to have a helper getting the blower down! Jim.
