Thank You All

It has long been a dream of mine to start an American company that employees American workers, uses American products, treats its employees well, pays its suppliers on time, provides products and services that are competitively priced, treats its customers like they deserve to be treated and, at the same time survives in today's economy. With the mass exodus of jobs and entire companies going over seas, I wanted to prove that we could still make products in the USA.

I am very proud of that accomplishment and I want to thank everyone who has been part of our success. A special thanks to the following: First and foremost, I want to thank my wife, Syble, without whom I would be lost. She keeps our office running and "tries" to keep me straight. Next: Bill Pentz who started it all; my son Matt who forced me to build the first Bill Pentz designed cyclone; Chris Brennan who keeps our production going; Mick Hatley from Electric Motor & Repair who supplies our motors and has become a good friend and of course all of our customers who have made this adventure great. I have met so many truly nice people that this has been the best work experience of my life.

Thanks,

Ed Morgano

I would also like to acknowledge a special debt of gratitude to Bill Pentz for his work in the field of dust collection. For those of you who arrived at this site from somewhere other than Bill's site, I strongly advise you to go to his site and study a little before jumping into anything. Our Clear Vue Cyclone is built according to Bill's designs and should be used in conjunction with the rest of the parts that he recommends. On our links page, we include links to Bill's site, Wynn Environmental who supplies the after cartridge filters and links to several of our customer's sites. We are currently supplying complete units that include our own 15" impellers and Leeson 5hp motors.

This whole venture came about as a result of my son building a new woodworking shop. When we neared completion of his shop, he started researching dust collection (I had a 2 hp bag type “dust blower”) and came upon Bill Pentz’s web site. Together we built a cyclone according to Bill’s plans and when it was finished it worked so well that I just simply had to have one. Beyond that, I had to see what was going on inside, so I decided to build mine out of clear plastic. Well, let me tell you, this was a great thing. Now, not only do I have a dust “collector”, but I have a “Clear Vue” of what is going on inside of the unit. My son and I, after having built Bill's design and seeing how well it works, are both thoroughly convinced that this is the best dust collector design that money can buy. No false claims, it just works great! We have seen first hand that it performs as Bill says. After about two months of projects in Matt’s’ shop we took the filter rack off to inspect it. Other than a very small amount of fine dust (there wasn't enough to discolor the white filters), it was virtually clean!

Filter Media After 2 months
This is the actual filter after 2 months of normal shop projects that included building cabinets and tables for Matt's shop and MDF board parts for the cyclones.
I've been asked a lot if Bill's design is really better that the others. Below is a picture showing the advanced features of Bill's design with notes about why each one makes this system better than the others.
Cyclone with advantages listed
In short, Bill's design produces a unit with less turbulence, better separation and less static pressure drop. This means that you will have to clean your filters a lot less often and you will get more CFM at your machines -where you need it.

With our Clear Vue Cyclone you have several more advantages. You can see what is going on at all times. If you let your trash bin get full you'll know it immediately. Plastic doesn't rust or dent and it's quieter than metal. In short, we believe our unit is the best hobbyist cyclone you can buy.
