Commercial & Institutional Dust Collection Systems
Industrial-Strength Source Capture for Safer, Cleaner Workspaces
Clear Vue Cyclones provides high-efficiency dust collection systems built specifically for commercial manufacturing plants, secondary and post-secondary schools, cabinet shops, and industrial facilities. Led by the powerhouse EF5 Metal Series, our heavy-duty equipment is engineered for demanding continuous-duty environments while sustaining strong CFM and static pressure.
Whether you are bringing an existing facility up to OSHA and NFPA standards or equipping a new educational woodshop, Clear Vue supplies the raw performance and filtration that commercial operations require.
The EF5 Metal Series
Industrial & Educational
- Flagship industrial unit featuring a fully welded, heavy-gauge steel cyclone body for maximum durability.
- Designed to withstand highly abrasive materials, non-ferrous metal grinding, and the demanding environments of high school and university woodshops.
- Fully customizable configurations, including outdoor venting options, specialized collection drum sizes, and multi-port intakes (up to 8-inch inlets).
- Engineered to help facilities maintain compliance with air quality standards and indoor particle limitations.
Ideal for: Industrial manufacturing, high school and university shops, metalworking facilities, and multi-shift production plants.
Commercial Installation & Compliance Considerations
Selecting an industrial dust collector requires careful consideration of your facility’s physical footprint, electrical infrastructure, and workflow. When planning your equipment upgrade or preparing a bid package for procurement, keep the following commercial specifications in mind:
Vertical Clearance
Clear Vue Cyclones use an uncompromising, high-efficiency true cyclonic taper with a critically important neutral vane. The EF5 system requires significant vertical clearance, ranging from 96 to 112 or more inches depending on the model and collection drum.
Electrical Requirements
Our systems can be configured for Single-Phase (230V) or heavy-duty Industrial 3-Phase power (230V or 460V) to match your facility's electrical grid.
Filter Options & Venting
Configure with premium certified MERV 15 filtration packages to return clean, conditioned air directly back into the shop, or set up to vent exhaust completely outdoors where permitted.
Institutional Procurement
We routinely work with school districts, universities, and corporate purchasing departments. We accept authorized Purchase Orders (POs), provide W-9 forms, and supply detailed specification sheets required for formal bidding and approval processes.
Engineered Duct Design Services
A dust collector only performs as well as the ductwork feeding it. Undersized mains, too many turns, or a cyclone in the wrong spot can cut airflow at every machine, even with a properly sized unit. Clear Vue’s design team plans your entire duct system around your actual floor plan, equipment, and airflow needs, so your system performs at full capacity from day one.
1. Site Discovery
We gather ceiling heights, room dimensions (including separate CNC or laser rooms), machine locations, drops and floor sweeps, required duct diameters, available power, and any obstacles or air return and exhaust needs.
2. 3D Layout & Airflow Calculations
Our designers build a detailed model showing cyclone placement and every run, branch, and drop with its diameter. We run airflow calculations for demanding applications like laser fume evacuation and add bleeder valves where needed to fine-tune CFM.
3. Parts List & Project Scope
You receive a complete scope of work with a parts list, deliverables, timeline, and clearly stated exclusions, giving procurement teams, school boards, and facility managers the documentation needed for approvals and bidding.
4. Supply, Installation & Testing
Clear Vue can supply and install the unit and ductwork. Once installation is complete, we test and finalize every machine hookup so each drop pulls the airflow it was designed for.
Design Principles Built Into Every Layout
- Place the cyclone where total duct length is kept to a minimum
- Position high-volume machines closest to the collector
- Use straight runs rather than turns wherever possible
- Maintain at least 5 feet of straight pipe into the dust collector
- Specify antistatic lines where materials or equipment call for them
- Design around how the shop will actually operate day to day

B2B Fulfillment & Shipping
Because commercial systems and bulk ducting components are heavy-duty industrial equipment, logistics are handled via specialized freight to ensure safe delivery.
Freight Shipping
All commercial cyclone kits and industrial packages ship via LTL Freight. If your facility does not have a loading dock or forklift on-site, notify us in advance so we can arrange a liftgate delivery.
Lead Times
Standard hobby systems ship quickly, but large commercial orders, 3-phase motor pairings, and custom metal cyclone build times depend on order volume. Contact us early in your project planning phase to secure your production slot.
