Why Clear Vue Cyclones?
Why our cyclones are unique and how we put our customers first.
Separation Efficiency
Based on the revolutionary Bill Pentz design, our cyclones dust collection systems separate more than 99% of sawdust and chips made by woodworking tools before they reach the filters. Test results prove that the Pentz design is the most efficient on the market today. We separate fine airborne particles five times more efficiently than the traditional cyclone system.
Impellers
Clear Vue Cyclones uses steel, material handling impellers, which have passed the test of time and conform to the current recommendation of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Clear Vue Cyclones’ impellers are the only ones in the small shop woodworker market that use the proper taper lock bushing to mount them to the motor shaft so they don’t slip. This taper lock busing is also self-centering, which keeps the impeller running true and balanced.
Cyclones
Clear Vue’s cyclones are unique in the industry. The PETG plastic used in our Clear Systems is the same found in police riot shields due to its tough, impact-resistant (but not unbreakable) material. It is quieter than steel, does not rust or dent, and greatly reduces the weight of the system compared to steel cyclones. Our complete system weighs about 110 lbs., including the motor. Most importantly, the five horsepower Clear Vue Cyclones systems are clear; which allows users to see the operation.
Filters
When outside venting is not possible, Clear Vue Cyclones uses and recommends the use of Wynn filters. A comparison of filtration tests on the Wynn website along with other published tests shows Wynn filters have a higher filtration efficiency than its competitors. Wynn Environmental has been recognized as the air filtration experts for over thirty years.
